Convenient Location 🌳 This place was perfectly located for us, close to both the city center and the peaceful suburbs. We enjoyed a 2-night stay in the charming Assebroek district, which offered a calm and private setting for unwinding, watching TV, or just chilling out.

The hotel was situated in a leafy suburb just outside the city centre, the owner provided us with bikes so that we could do-as-the-locals-do and cycle into brugge. The interior design was immaculate and co-ordinated throughout to the highest standards. Klass had a fantastic grip of the english language and has a very good dry sense of humour. Kristen made breakfast, which was gorgeous - fresh breads, fresh orange, fresh eggs.... it was an excellent breakfast.

A superbly presented hotel on the outskirts of Bruge; ideal for seeing the city, but far enough away to escape the crowds.

Katrien has made this place an absolute delight to stay in. She welcomed us warmly into her home and we just wished we had more time to stay longer! It is quiet, tastefully decorated and within easy reach of the town centre without feeling like you're in town.

ambience of the location - style of the property - friendliness of the owner- nice breakfast
The owner decided to take a "lazy day" on our third day. Our room was not made up even though we were out all day. This was very unprofessional.

Our room wasn't cleaned or the bed made on the third night of our stay. When I mentioned this to the owner she handed me a few clean towels and said she had been too busy to service our room.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The breakfast delicious and classy. The friendliness, Katrien gave us very good tips and was very generous (lent us bikes, gave the ladies a gift and wrote a few nice words when we left etc.). The property is situated in beautiful gardens and is extremely quiet. All in all we had a wonderful four days in the most beautiful rooms. Also a great advantage is there are only a few rooms which adds to the quality of relaxation.
